Caroline Freedman
Caroline has over 20 years of experience working in primary schools across Enfield and Barnet. She has developed inspirational geography and history schemes of work in the schools she has worked in and believes strongly in developing children’s ability to work as geographers and historians. Caroline has also written lesson plans for the Royal Geographical Society and The Mayor’s ‘London Curriculum’.
Caroline can offer support to develop both the geography and history curriculum across KS1 and KS2 (and links between the two), creating an enquiry approach and the use of critical thinking. She can also offer help with progression in geography and history skills across KS1 and KS2, including map work, fieldwork and use of artefacts.
Professional Development Exchange
Partnership schools offer to provide access to a piece of good work. It could be a number of things offered for staff in other partnership schools to come and observe, such as a Learning Walk through a really good nursery provision, an outstanding teacher giving a literacy lesson, setting up a school library etc.
